Laminated Steel Sheet (Hi-Pet)
Types and Characteristics
Type A
Used normally with double-sided laminated materials. It can be used for tie drum materials, aerosol metal ring & bottom materials, caps and 18-liter can cover/bottom materials in applications without coating or printing.- Direct laminating of biaxial oriented polyester film to heated TFS.
- The laminated polyester layer consists of a biaxial oriented later and a non oriented layer.
- single-sided laminated materials are also available.
Type B
Used normally with single-sided laminated materials. It can be used for tie drum materials, aerosol metal ring & bottom materials, caps and 18-liter can cover/bottom materials in applications where coating or printing is required.- Laminating of biaxial oriented polyester film to heated TFS or tinplate via primer.
- Practical film adhesion obtained from a heating process (190 degree centigrade or higher for 10 minutes) after coating or printing for consumers.
- Double sided lamination also available.
White Film
Laminated white color polyester film replacing normal clear polyester film.- Type A or B, and single or double sided lamination available.
- Clear film front and back differential also available.
