Condensation water droplet prevention function
The surface fiber coat layer has the effect of suppressing condensation from occurring.
It also prevents condensate from dripping from the roof in the event condensation occurs due to dramatic environmental changes as it possess a water retention capability of approx. 400 g/m².

The latest in roof backing aesthetics. A soft velvet tone impression.

Design
The surface has a velvet tone finish overflowing with high class richness. It is perfect for designing train station platforms and other open-air roof spaces. It is also perfect for finishing materials as wall materials for offices, stores, entrances and other areas.

Supports continuous roofs
Continuous roof folded sheets, roof decks, etc. can be created, while "continuous molded products" with insulation & condensation water retention performance can be manufactured.

Weather resistance
When steel sheets with 2 conventional backing material types affixed were compared to a fiber coated steel sheet in exposure tests, conventional backing material was shown to be peeling from the edges after 1 month had passed, but the fiber coated steel sheet was shown to have no peeling even after 2 years had passed.

Certified fireproof product (Certification number NM-1213 Coated steel sheet)
Acquired Fireproofing Material certification from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
Some models also acquired the 30-minute roof fireproofing certification from partner metal roofing manufacturers.
Roll mold, bending processibility
Supports roof folded sheets (circular seams, mated method) and other roll mold processing. (Reference models)

Insulation performance
The fiber coated steel sheet has a thermal transmittance (K) of 6.17 W/(m²K) in a set condition at wind speed of 9 m/s, thus has virtually the same level as slate surges.

Roof structure

Edge water repellant process
Fiber coat steel sheets have very high water absorption, and expand through capillarity when water hits a certain area.
We recommend eliminating water retention by coating the fiber coat with a water repellant coating to appropriate locations where water hits and preventing rising water in order to prevent water infiltration from the nose or gutter.
