Social Action
In Toyo Kohan Co., Ltd., we are promoting the building up of a company that is relied upon by all people by carrying out activities of communication with the local community people and activities of contributing to the society mainly in Kudamatsu city in Yamaguchi prefecture which is our manufacturing center.
Community Interaction Day
In order to strengthen our interaction with the local community and to deepen mutual understanding, we are holding a Toyo Kohan Community Interaction Day at the Kudamatsu plant.

Cultural Events
We are holding lectures and concerts by prominent figures such as well-known sportspeople and classical musicians for the enjoyment of the local people. These events have received considerable praise in the past.

Received One-More Life Worker Volunteer Award in 2006
The Kudamatsu Plant of Toyo Kohan received the “One-More Life Worker Volunteer Award”'s Nice Support Award from the SAWAYAKA Welfare Foundation which is under the control of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare as the organization which forms communication with local community people and creates environment conducive to activities as well as supporting employees' volunteer activities. |

Tours of the Factory and Head Office
As part of our efforts to make the Kudamatsu plant an open factory, we actively encourage local school children to come and tour the plant. Children from neighboring schools are also invited to visit the showroom at our head office. |

Can Back Campaign
As a manufacture of materials for cans, we are carrying out used can recovery operations from 1991 with the purpose of reuse of natural resources and preservation of the beauty of the environment. On the Community Interaction Day, we have asked the people of the community to bring used cans. The game “Can Can Bowling” with the used can have extremely well received by children. |

Zero Garbage City Activity
We are participating in the Zero Garbage Activity within the city that is held once every year under the auspices of the Kudamatsu city government, during which we are carrying out cleaning out operation along with the local government. |

Port Cleaning Strategy
In cooperation with the “Setonaikai and Uwajima Cleaning Operation” held every year, we are carrying out cleaning of the sea area in the vicinity of the banks next to our Kudamatsu plant. |
